possessive adjectives my - your - his - her - its -our - your - their are the possessive adjectives in English. You can use 's with nouns; - ( Tom's book,  David's desk  ) - ( Sam and Jack's house ) - ( Sam's and Jack's house ) they are used to show that "something belongs to someone". They are used before a noun . You can ask questions with "whose?"	It is my bag. It is your desk. It is our house . They are his shoes. These are her books. Its colour is red. Their names are Tim and Bob. It is Nina's house.  That is Gwen's school. This is Tim and Ann's house. Whose pen is this? - It is my pen. Whose book is that? - It is Linda's book. Whose shoes are they? - They are her shoes Whose jacket is this? - It's Ozzy's jacket. Whose desk is it? - It's Bob and Sally's desk
