In the affirmative
  • Add "-s" at the end of the verb when you write
    sentences with "he", "she" and "it".
 - He drinks milk.

 - She plays the piano.

 - It likes water.
In the negative
  • Don't add "-s" at the end of the verb when you
    write negative sentences with "he", "she" and "it".
  • Use "DOES" as an auxillary (helping verb).
 - He doesn't drink milk.

 - She doesn't play the piano.

 - It doesn't like water.
In the question
  • Don't add "-s" at the end of the verb
    when you write questions with "he", "she" and "it".
  • Use "DOES" as an auxillary (helping verb).

Does he drink milk?
- Yes, he does.
- No, he doesn't.
                                                               
Does she play the piano?
- Yes, she does.
- No, she doesn't.

Does it like water?
- Yes, it does.
